Paddington Station old style

Paddington Station old style, originally uploaded by Tor-Ivar.

The Paddington Station has a inspiring architecture, and I just had to make a “old style” shot out of this. Ok, there are modern trains and stuff here… but… Suddenly I can imagine how it would have been in the “old times” :-)… do you see the old trains, and the coal and the steam…? 🙂

  1. I like it. Nice lines.

  2. Talking of good framing. You´ve managed to make the impression of an ellipse frame, though half of the ellipse is actually not there. Nice.

  3. Wonderful perspective in this shot. I like the sepia tone too, it does make it look ‘old school.’ Nicely done.

  4. holy crap. you have some amazing shots!

  5. Awesome shot. The European train stations have incredible architecture. You’ve captured it beautifully.

  6. Cool shot – really makes you feel the massive space. Thanks for your visit to my site.
